Parallax Mapper Wanted.

You don't need to be a master of the screen and hard mix layers or anything. I can add the effects on my own. But a standard paralax mapper would be great. I've spent much time fiddling with my own shoddy area layouts, throwing out some areas and revamping others. It's a huge time sink. If anyone wants to help, lemme know.

  1. I would 'like' to apply but... parallax mapping takes massive amounts of time for me, even for very small maps, time I sadly do not have atm.

  3. I don't really know where else to put this so I say it here
    I loved the game so far, but I have found a few small problems with it.

    #1 It isn't finished :P
    #2 I found a few walls I could go through. I can only remember 1 of them right now though .[it is in town where you can run off a cliff to the left]
    #3 I understand why Dryden is weak when not assuming his alterego, but he is weaker than wet paper. [Even clothing is tougher than him 0:-) ] This might just bug me and no one else however.
    #4 When trying to track down the thief, i went to the autumn woods and saw Fai (I think it was Fai anyway. Don't know the sprites well enough to be sure) in the spring again (event didn't trigger though)
    #5 In the battle against Yin you can turn into Dryden... She of course then slaughters you, but come the cutscene you are the bonespirit again. You should probably lock that skill in fights like that, or have an alternative event play.
    #6 If you unequip then reaquip the bonespirit you get a health bonus. (I think the equipment is meant to give you this, but it doesn't seem to until it is unequipped once first)
    #7 Dryden asks if anyone wants to bet 10 "bucks" that Ryo is high again. The games currency is yen however... Might want to change that...

    That is about all I can think of right now. Hope it is more helpful than annoying :P

    1. 1: lol. >w< Working on it.
      2: Found the one in the town. I've got a better script for movement that extends the simple, passable/impassable so these issues should be easier to fix.
      3: A couple people noted this. Planning to compensate by giving him some life and defence, just no attack. So this should work better.
      5: probably my biggest mistake. Should've have un-winnable fights be playable at all, especially when their tried to scripted major plot points. Quite a few people have pointed this out.
      6: Indeed. I'll look into that.
      7: Nice catch. I'll fix it before next release.

  4. For 5, I was also referring to the fight with Leia and/or Fai, when I said "fights like that" They too show no mercy if you change to Dryden in the fight.

    I remembered another of those walls I was talking about as well. It is when find Ryo. The cave the transfers you to the map with Ryo can be entered from behind or in front.

    1. I'm not exactly sure WHY you changed to Dryden mid-fight ( speaking of which, maybe keeping the transformation spell locked Reggy)

  5. I think it makes just as much sense as changing into Dryden before you talk to them in the first place. Certainly a less extreme solution than stripping or defeating the girls after seeing their hostility.
    That aside, it is more about the "could" than the "why".

  6. Hmmm... The idea was that if you got caught ina fight you could suit up rather than die slowly... Seems like it need some tweaking though.
