And for the weekly update. finished enemy spawn point finally. tried doing it a couple different ways before settling on one that worked. might be able to use the other ideas for something else. Digital roadblocks maybe. Anyway, currently trying to give the UI a polish pass. Made a shader that got rid of the sprite halos for non-bi cubic interpolation. Looks promising so far. Might take a bit if i have to resize the sprites. After that is finish those fonts I keep half working on then I'll be hooking up the level system.

Edit: Been playing around with my solution for the UI and it seems I'm right on both counts. It's working great for any resolution and yes I will have to redo the UI menu sprites. Might have to make some new ones. Catering the lowest resolution was really irritating and effected some of the things I wanted to do. But, It'll get done.

No new art to show you guys this time. Sorry. Since last update i did a several animations for the digital navi you'll be playing as for half the game and hooked up some basic combat. It works... It Looks like crap at the moment *animations look sweet they just don't fire exactly when and where they're supposed to*, but that's just a matter of time to fix. After that I'll need the enemy to fight back properly, hook up the enemy spawn point and do some more work on the loot system. Item's experience, ect. See you guys again in a few more weeks hopefully.

Alright. So here's a little update and some more teaser art. Don't worry. project is not dead. Been working on it every day. And also did a couple bonehead graphics as well, albiet not much of that.  Planning to get something playable out by the end of the year. It won't be the full first chapter but it should show you guys what you are waiting for and should have all the systems I intend to use.  After I get the full first chapter of this out, I want to get the full first chapter of Bonehead out on the new engine.

As for what I'm working on specifically. I'm making some combat areas so I can start fine tuning that and associated systems, like leveling and upgrades and even some parts of the equipment.  The balancing for that is going to take a bit. Also been looking at other sources for music because getting that down is going to be a challenge. Take care.

An update because i haven't done a proper one in a while. One of the game graphics and one of the characters in the game. I'm not going to say too much more about that to avoid spoilers. the girl is about 90% done. just needs some touch ups.

I may need to redo some of the UI graphics to fix distortion on non-native resolutions, spent a couple weeks dabbling in music before enlist some help. Hopefully that works out all right. Did a shit ton on the plot.  I know exactly how the prologue is going to work now. Which characters I need and which ones to hold off on. Main focus now is getting the initial roster done. Being a more sandboxy type game I'd like to have as many of the characters as possible visible from the get-go. cheers.
