And for the weekly update. finished enemy spawn point finally. tried doing it a couple different ways before settling on one that worked. might be able to use the other ideas for something else. Digital roadblocks maybe. Anyway, currently trying to give the UI a polish pass. Made a shader that got rid of the sprite halos for non-bi cubic interpolation. Looks promising so far. Might take a bit if i have to resize the sprites. After that is finish those fonts I keep half working on then I'll be hooking up the level system.

Edit: Been playing around with my solution for the UI and it seems I'm right on both counts. It's working great for any resolution and yes I will have to redo the UI menu sprites. Might have to make some new ones. Catering the lowest resolution was really irritating and effected some of the things I wanted to do. But, It'll get done.

  3. Hi love your game it's great, story, characters, the whole thing. It just keeps crashing on me after I get the armor back from the priestess. Every time I try to make some new armor for the spirit shortly after the game crashes, try to use a save point ... crash, try to go out of town and open inventory ... crash, try to transform ... crash. I'm loving the game but new equipment is kind of SOP for a RPG. Please try to fix this in the next update.

    1. Sorry anon. This is one of the reasons I will be remaking this game on gamemaker. Due to the numerous 3rd party scripts I was using crashing became common, although it wasn't until the players reported one that I was unable to recreate that it became a major issue.

  4. I tell you what it has taken me a surprisingly long time to track this down after seeing it off handed once on Kimochi of all places.

    This is something I'm going to follow in hopes of finding where to download it.

      Found it uploaded to a pirate site. you can give this link a shot if you want. If you get it working but there's no text it means the font is uninstalled. should be in the game folder. sophomore yearbook if memory serves me correctly.

  5. Hey, looking forward to the next installment. Not sure if anyone's noticed this, but if you equip the thatched sandals to leia before the paper mansion, when you find her again, she's wearing torn sandals again. Also, is there any way that you could perhaps put some sort of stats screen in the crafting menu? Most of the stuff is pretty obvious which is better, but for stuff that shares the same equipment slot and are not the crap you start with, it'd be nice to know exactly what you're getting. Heck, even just a simple, "this should provide a boost to defence, but its heavy enough to slow you down" would be helpful. Oh, almost forgot; the bone shield recipe didn't show up in the crafting menu after I found it. I figure most of these problems will be fixed after you remake the game, but I thought that I might as well bring it to your attention just in case. Can't wait to play it some more!

    1. not for a while. once i release goldfish I'll have convert all the systems for bonehead and make a couple new ones, it'll be quite a while. sorry.

    1. Eh, slow. RPG maker crapped out on me so I'm gonna half to eventually remake a lot of stuff in game maker. to that end I start on another project called goldfish hacker to make and test some of the new stuff I'll be needing. Working on the menus now.

  9. Heya, I've been following this game for a while, but have found it difficult to keep up with the newest versions. Last one I could find was 0.1.17. I would love to test this game out as more gets released. Is there any way to keep track of new releases?
