speaking of which fenix what's your native language? I imagine that you had alot of trouble with figuring out what to do in the demo if you can't read anything.
im reading the gamer too my native language is spanish and i dont have any problem reading and understanding
my problem comes from grammar and orthography (i just caught i wrote "y mi favorito" instead of "and my favourite" by the way )
like my "im" instead of "I´m", "its" instead of "it`s" and some expressions that comes naturally in spanish but sounds a little weird or badly composed in english i can understand you perfectly ; i have problems making myself understood
He did mention doing a proper update in the previous post but doesn't seem to have gotten around to it. Maybe if we leave more comments like these it will pressure him into doing it. :P
95% can be misleading... the last 5% can be very difficult. Coding and such, or just finicky mechanics. But here's hoping!
It would be more detailed if it was split into section like the translators of some VN's do.

Sorry for the lack of update. I finished alpha testing the prologue and have been trying to focus on the last two CGs before I start on the first chapter. It's been quite the pain due to a pinched nerve I got on monday. so I can't draw or do much pc work at my desktop cuz my arm starts killing my in about 20 minutes. It's doing better now but still hasn't completely healed. My laptop is also still in the shop. and a computer freeze ate some of my japanese homework so I'm trying to catch up on that too. It's been... it's been on of THOSE weeks~ where little annoyances keep popping up and getting in my way. hopefully next week goes a little smoother.
Naw wasn't planning on having a level system for the the Tactical battles. So a radiant system *Which I assume is akin the elder scrolls radiant quest system* is kind of pointless. I was aiming more for the suikden 2 way of doing things.
Aww i was hoping to be able to start a new strategy combat system on command for gold and exp but keeping all the missions story based might be exhilarating too i guess.
Well, we still have regular battles. So gold/exp farming will be random battles as per usual. It would be nice to have special rewards for doing well in the wars though. All troops still alive type things. Defeating enemies that you shouldn't... Like Luca Blight in Suikoden II. Defeat him on a map where he normally takes a certain amount of damage and runs away, and he still lives, but you'd get a rare weapon/armor/rune.
Also, I liked how Suiko III did it for war (the only part of the game I really liked). It made you use those extra recruits that you never touched. Their personal levels, weapons and armor was part of that unit for war. So if you never used the ducks, their ability in the war was horrible. But if you leveled them, upgraded their armor and forged them better weapons they'd wreck shop. Are you incorporating that, or just the Suiko II way of each unit having a set strength in the war battles?
And..... you all lost me. This is game talk way above my knowledge base. I usually just play in the "point me in its direction and I'll kill it for you" system.

Sup guys, I just came up with an idea for an anime u will all be interested in.
So, our story starts with an otaku game developer struggling with his art named 'Corey.' but one day his japanese highschool takes him on a school field trip and his bus crashes and when he wakes up he is on an uncharted island with a 9:1 female to male ratio. He and his younger sister are the only survivors of the bus crash. Then his daughter comes back from the future to make sure he has children with the queen of the island. But will he be able to survive long enough with the hot pirate raider women?
Ummmmm.... yeah. I assume by "u will all be interested in" you mean "Corey will be interested in" also. You take out the main characters name and you essentially have a common hentai cliche combined with the plot for DNA2. Not to be critical or anything.
In chapter 2 we find out the reason he went to the island was because Aliens were upset because they couldn't find any updates for his game in a while and needed to ask him directly and tried to kidnap him, but the japanese government fired a series of missiles at the flying saucer and it used its emergency ejection which happened to be over the island.
This is it. I make new posts any time I made significant progress and to show off new art. Been on a bit of a dry spell lately due to my arm bein messed up.
Thanks for the response. I noticed some comments are expressing some impatience. I've been out of marital arts for a while because of one injury after another and it isn't fun trying to ease back in. All I can say is take as much time as you need, rediscover your passion and do things your way- the way it should be! All the best bro/sis.
Hey, question. What would you say about finishing off this portion of the game without all of the CGs? I figure that since it seems it's especially the drawings that eat up a lot of time at this stage, especially with your hand as it is. You could release an alpha/beta build that could be bug tested by us, while you go back to working on the CG/the next chapter of the game. Figured that could both be more time efficient and would allow you to possibly rest up your hand while it's having trouble drawing.
This truly isn't meant to rush you or anything, I'm happy whenever it comes out, figured I'd just mention it as an option and see what you thought.
I was there watching the stream a couple weeks earlier and I gotta say something about your shaved/unshaved debate.
Well, a guy argued since he liked bush girls should go half shaved or have a small bush so it could satisfy everyone.
But I gotta argue that it's not the case. If you make women half-pregnant (IE: a little swollen) you're probably gonna upset the people that don't want pregnant women.
You'll probably leave some ppl upset by the decision, whichever you choose.
I'll put my two cents into this and say do what feels natural for a given character. Your characters, you know what they would do better than anyone. Don't know what the debate the Anon above mentioned was all about since I missed the stream, but if a gal is pregnant I can say I'd rather see it. Suspension of disbelief only goes so far and seeing a pregnant woman stay skinny is just ridiculous.
In the defense of whoever was talking before, some women *do* barely show anything during pregnancy. They're few and far between of course, but it does happen.
To the fact that Regless hasn't posted any updates yet... I say "No Comment"...... which is in and of itself a comment... yet it is a comment that is commenting that you have no comments.... make of this what you will. (Evil smile)

Rob, go easy on those demands there guy. A week is hardly enough time to do anything! He's got story to write, characters to draw, maps to make, abilities to create and test, code to debug...
A lot of independent free games like this get stopped because the fans are too pushy for updates and something that was fun for the creator gets stressful. Remember, there is a lot in making a story, making that story interactive is even more work. He's still gotta fit in his personal life stuff as well, after his normal work hours. Authors take anywhere from months to years just to *write*. He's doing far more. A week for updates is unreasonable.
Oh no no no. You misunderstand my good sir. I'm not suggesting an update like "I'm 75% done" exactly. More like. "Hey guys it's been about a week and the comments section for the last update is getting kinda big. Just posting to say I'm still alive. P.S. no significant progress to mention as of yet. P.P.S. Oh. And also. As I've stated previously. I actually want him to take his time on the game because I no longer have a computer. I just like hearing from him. ^_^
