I know I posted this in an older thread but I didn't realize it was an old thread at the time. So, Like, if we could get some kinda detailed report on the progress. What % you have done of what. What parts someone else is doing, What parts some one else has to do, what parts you have to and are doing. That way we can make estimates for release dates if everything does or doesn't go according to plan/schedule.
P.S. I'd still love to edit your game dialogue. Because despite how fantastic your game is, the bad grammar threw my friend off.
okay let's see. area maps for chapter one are done. Paper Mansion Map is finished for the first chapter. and the world is about 95% done. *just need to add a few things to make it look more interesting. clutter basically.*
All facesets are done for the first chapter, I keep finding variations that I need though as I write the character, but it doesn't take me that long.
1 battler to go for the first chapter
all major events for the first chapter are done.
side quests are about 50% private actions 0% *Think star ocean 2*
still waiting on Tactical Battle System upgrade.
the tactical battle system is the only thing being handled by someone other than me. I have a couple people helping me with maps, music, and writing, but right now their role is over till the beta testing starts. And no worries about the game grammer. I'm well aware it's a weak spot of mine. I do have a bunch of offers for the editing already but I'll happily add you as well for when it's ready to be edited.
Oh about that, I'm curious about this chapter 1, how long it is? i just hope it like 1 hour or at least more than that for chapter 1 alone since this game is AMAZING, and one of the most RPG maker game that i been waiting for! and i would say keep up the good work :D!
Since we're bringing Star Ocean (the best one of the series IMHO) and private actions into this, will there be things like pickpocketing, friendship/relationship books, those awesome miscellaneous items like fake money, fake checks, insurance, contracts, etc? And item cloning? Definitely item cloning... (I just started playing that game again last week on an emulator. So it's all fresh in my head right now.)
LO2. I'll finish a major chapter in the story, then release it. the whole thing together is massive soooo, yeah. That would take forever. then probably go back and make a gold version. huzzah~
Question about this teaser is that green haired girl the new version of the hunter girl that is show as small portrait on the left can't remember her name its been a while since i played the demo?
I'm pretty sure that it's Fai (the girl who lives outside of town/the "bully"). She has the same type of clothes, band-aid on her cheek etc. I assume that the other two small pictures are the different versions of her that he has made throughout the process.
It seems to be a similar improvement to the one he showed of Yin last year.

DeleteYou are doing a really good job. As other posters have mentioned, I'm honestly looking forward to this game a lot more than big name block busters.

I actually think it's her mother. IIRC in the demo it mentions her and if you check the image properties it's names "FujinPreview.jpg".
