    2. Hate that animation studios make great anime with a great concept but they always fuck something up.Deadman wonderland-fuckup was not finishing it.Accel world-fuckup the main char in the "Real World",SAO-fuckup kirito's character took a 180 degree turn in Gun Gale and so on to find a anime with no fuckup is soo rare.

      Such a great scene.

    8. Im not saying its bad to watch only ending sucks but the rest is really good and my fav part was when he fights the Flugel.
Oh and if you want another example of animation studios fuckin up i can tell you a spoiler for the upcoming DxD that will make you hate the anime.

    9. I agree anime endings are kind of rushed lately. I guess they hope to come out with other seasons.

For me hitsugi no chaika: avenging battle was really rushed. They should have made it at least two episodes longer.

    10. Chaika's ending was kinda dumb.
1.They didnt get any credit for it.
2.The question with the other chaika's was unresolved
3.The way they killed him was boring he basically became a dragoon rider for nothing since chaika did most of the work....

    11. I'll try binge watching a few eps this week. The synopsis wasn't all that impressive so I'm not surprised I've overlooked it thus far.

As for sword art online. Didn't like it. Just wasn't a fan Asuna getting rammed down the main characters throat at every turn. That turns me off a lot of anime sadly. So many are done like lousey romances. I think the last cartoon I really got into was Detentionaire. *Grumbles* still need to bring back tron uprising. And Code Geass is still the last anime cartoon.

    12. Hitsugi no Chaika is fairly average in terms of plot. What made it really stand out for me was the way they portrayed the battles. The main character is a saboteur (rogue class) and the battles are very hit and run, win by any devious means. He's never never portrayed as an invincible super hero that just pretends to be frail for plot convenience, like many anime and stories do for the main character.

As Nikola pointed out, the ending to the second season sucks because they compressed too many epic moments into one ep.

    13. No the plot to me was kinda interesting cos its rare to see a anime like this.Too many anime with a invincible hero who saves the day.Dont get me wrong i like that too but the path to becoming that invincible hero is more fun for me.This is why i still love Deadman Wonderland even if its a unfinished anime sadly. But the manga was awsome and ended perfectly. But back to Chaika. They are in a world of do anything to win or die.And if they could just make him the invincible hero at the end when he became the dragoon rider then the anime would have been awsome. But sadly they fucked up the whole ending and gave 0 meaning to the rest of the plot so i understand why you think its dumb cos the ending ruined it all

    3. i love tower of god and the gamer , whats the plot of the others?

    4. Black Haze is about magicians but the main char is some op mage.Mages have a special transformation that helps access most of their magical powers. The main chars transformation completely changes him so no one knows who he is accept his employer. Then he is hired for a job enters a magic school and stiuff happens :D
Soul Cartel is about a Brother and Sister the sister is a spirit medium and the brother has hidden potential(SPOILERS):D Then a demon comes Mephistopheles and he looks for a oponent a man called Faust(God's Champion)He meats the Brother and they kinda become frends with him training the boy later to unlock his potential. Then he meats faust they make a Deal(Challenge) Faust makes Mephistopheles good or Mephistopheles corrupts faust the winner gets the other as a slave i think i forgot the deal was long ago. Then they go to hell and stuff happens :D
UQ Holder is a story about immortals. The main char gets his immortality from the Strongest woman on the planet the oldest immortal vampire. He cant die even if you explode his body he will never die.Now with that he gets powers but unknown to him he has powers from someware else(Spoilers). Then they go to a place thats the home to immortals people who live foreaver(Cursed,Machines,NonHumans and so on).He has a goal to get strong and go to a special place where he wants to meat up with his frends but some stuff happens along the way.UQ holer is not a organisation thats just a home to immortals but a kind of service.
Rain is about a man who is the commander of a army and the strongest swordsman to ever live.He has killed a dragon and even gotten his power and was mentored by the former strongest a Vampire woman. He is a briliant tactician that protects the princess and would do anything for her.
Deadman Wonderland is about people who can control Blood. They were given this power by a cataclysmic event that was caused by some one called "The Red Man".
All of these people are set up and taken to a prison and made to fight each other. Now the prison is a Sick on the ouside its a prison/amusment park a place people die left and right. They are made to do games(Deadly ones)to live and survive. But there is a special sector for the Real Deadmen(People with the powers). The rest is too much spoiler and its too good to ruin :D

    1. Well, if you haven't seen Code Geass, watch it. Also i'm personally a Fan of Log Horizon.

      Delete
    2. Depends what your lookin in a anime because there are quite a few good ones floating about. But i can point you to log horizon its somethig like the overthinking of No game no life with the Traped in a game like world of SAO.Note the overthinking is lesser than no game no life. They dont perma die but there is a consiquence to death. And the traped in a game like world is more exagerated than SAO.
If your lookin for Ecchi ainme with the badass hero i give you Trinity Seven,Seikoku no Dragonar (Both waiting Season 2)
And there is always the Amazing Game of Thrones of anime Akame ga Kill (Basically ANY ONE CAN DIE) :P
Also one of my Favs basicaly a ainme that is completely awsome if you dont mind a litle over loving sister Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Main Char doesnt love his sister back as she does but he always acts like a boss)
Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo Ill try not to spoil it but.(This one you may not like but i find it really good its basically segregation of people without a certan type of
ability lets call it. And they are forced to fight or die just like that the rest i dont wanna tell you cos its really nice and any spoiler ruins the experience of this one )

    1. Not bad. Seeing my brother tomorrow so no stream till Sunday again. Works going good. Been weirdly tired during the day but that happens a lot to me. Been binge watching NGNL. It's... better than I expecting but still has a couple things that really tick me of. I'm about 7 episodes in and I'd give it a 7 out of ten so far.

Game wise I've completed one of the dungeons *Minus the balancing.* so three left to go

    4. Harem route go! Naw it was the winning without violence thing that was bugging me for about 2-3 episodes. They seem to have relaxed on that nonsense a bit though thankfully. Other than that there's little moments where the girls seem to be impressed whenever the guy shows even a little bit of forethought but that's a really minor annoyance.

    6. Oh do you mean the whole moral thing like "violence is always bad and evil" moral crap? yeah that bothers me too. Still good.

      Delete
    7. Gotta be fair though.... if there weren't people who thought violence was wrong, then would violence slowly become acceptable and eventually just become a regular occurrence?
I for one am quite conflicted on the topic. Always have been, probably always will be. For example. I refuse to believe that violence is good. But I also understand that in many ways it is necessary.
It's sort of like a necessary evil. Yes its necessary and yes it is bad.
Likewise morality is not a bad thing, it balances out violence.
Where-as violence tends to be a necessary evil that CAN be used for good, morality tends to be a necessary good that CAN be used for evil.
No one ever claimed philosophy was easy.

    8. Yea and violence is frowned upon but every one loves to watch it in movies and other media........
There are many examples of things that are frowned upon but wished for.
For example you hate people who want to rule the world or do that but youd love to be them and many more

  10. @Robert: Yep. Nothing wrong being against violence. It's more how it's portrayed. Stuff like fighting styles that cause no injuries, especially in the case of sword styles. *looking at you One Piece* The Mermaid arc was pretty bad too. if I'm recalling correctly the Princess didn't out her mother's killer for the sake of peace, despite the fact that her silence caused rising hostilities with the noble humans who kept her kind as slaves. While the real killer got off scott free. I hadn't wanted to slam my head into a desk that hard since the last Naruto episode.

Funny thing is even series that are above average do the same thing. I remember we talk about Fire Emblem doing something like this.

Another aspect of how it's portrayed is that it's often championed by cute anime girl princesses in a very foolish manner. Basically everyone follows them because their popular and/or the alternative option is clearly the stupid one. Very rarely have they really had to suffer for their belief which is kind of an important staple of non-violent protests. The other side looks stupid and loses confidence because they keep attacking you for without being provoked. Trigun was a good example of it done right when you see all his wounds. His commitment to non-violence was impressive and earned him some friends. But bloody hell he suffered for it. And also Legato proved even he had a limit. He wasn't going to let his admittedly naive belief doom someone else.

I don't even view violence as necessary so much as it is inherent. We're bloody aggressive. I like it when characters are passive because they show restraint or intelligence. And when it's actually a difficult standpoint to take.

Oh man this is one of my favorite topics. Had to rewrite the comment three times because my thoughts we're all over the place.

    1. I agree and i like characters that show restraint too. Basically to powerfull but dont use their power blindly. Thats why i loved Rain.and the other type of character i like is the type that would throw away everything to acheve their goal. I kinda got this vibe off of Dryden but it wasnt that strong as other manga/anime/games ive seen. The winner for that would go to well lets just say a person that gave up everything even his own life to save his love :)

      Delete
    2. His own life was a example but he gave up something even worse but thats spoilers^^

    3. Oh LORD I loved Trigun. I like how Vash was against killing. I feel like it was reasonably applicable because he could actually manage it.
